Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age"

 Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
Luke 24:44-49
He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.

John 20:19-23
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.

The spirit of God at work
this prayer time,Jesus said" do not leave  the upper room until you have been filled with the power from God"
The lame and sick were brought for prayer.
 Mark 16:15-18
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.
People witnessed, God healed many.Another important aspect of verse 19 is that Christ is specifically teaching the doctrine of the Trinity to His followers. The three Persons of the Godhead are each equally and fully God and here presented in the logical order of Father, Son and Holy Spirit - yet only One God from the beginning (see Romans 1:20).

At this time we had an over night prayer at the crusade ground that ran through the early morning hours to around 3am. and we experienced the power of God as people were being healed and delivered from demonic powers.
The Great Commission - Its Significance for Christians
The Great Commission is the end of a Gospel and the beginning of faith in action for all Christians. This command from Jesus is significant because it's a personal instruction for Christians to have a profound faith in Jesus Christ as indicated in verse 18. "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." This is an incredibly powerful statement which demands faith in Jesus Christ, validating His power in the lives of Christians and their commitment to Him. This verse acts as a clear claim to Christ's omnipotence, and therefore His deity. If Christians do not believe this statement, complete faith does not exist. Jesus is very clear about His authority in the world -- it is complete and total from the beginning of time itself (John 1:1-3).

Prayer went on as also praised and worshiped God in spirit and power.
The Great Commission - A Personal Calling
In the Great Commission, Jesus calls every Christian to step out in faith and spread the Good News. This is faith in action! People who obey this command change their spiritual lives forever! It could be spreading the Good News to a neighbor or moving to another country to reach the people there. It could be sharing with less fortunate kids down the street or spreading the Word in a town two hours away. Wherever we go, every faithful Christian is compelled through obedience to share the Gospel. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ, where has He called you to go? Who has God put on your heart to share the gift of salvation? What small or large steps can you take, with the knowledge that Christ will be by your side, "to make disciples of all the nations"?

Many people were set free from all oppression as many were vomiting witchcraft and crying out for the power,Praise God he manifested his presence that day.
Finally, in verse 20, Jesus provides specific direction with affirmation to His followers, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Christians are instructed to teach others about Jesus Christ and the entirety of His truth. We can't profess Christ as Savior and Lord, while rejecting certain of His teachings. As we teach Christ's truths, verse 20 declares that we can be confident, in faith, that Jesus Christ will support us. This fact has proven trustworthy throughout the centuries as millions of believers have heard, accepted and shared the Good News of Jesus Christ. Yes, Christ has ascended back to heaven, but He is present by the power of the Holy Spirit in every believer!

I also spoke about the fathers love to the masses that turned up in large numbers.

Blessings to you as you obey the Voice God.

With assistance to victims of terrorist attacks in the earthquakes and land slides, floods  tragedies throughout the great lakes region , and hailstone destruction along the slopes of mount Rwenzori, our partners literally reach out in the midst of chaos and disasters with food, temporary shelter, and hope. These life-saving relief efforts are invaluable in opening doors to spread the life-changing Gospel.

God has a WONDERFUL PLAN and PURPOSE for your LIFE

I am writing this as a letter to you personally, my dear brother and sister in Christ, so that if you become anxious of the future, or you need encouragement about what is ahead, you can read it and hopefully hear GOD speak to your HEART…For this is really His MESSAGE to ALL of US….

I am writing this because I want to remind you of the great future God has for you. I know this because He said so. He says you have not seen, nor heard, nor even imagined anything as great as what He has prepared for you (1 Corinthians 2:9) You have no idea how great your future is. He says that what He has for you is so great that if you truly understood it, you would feel “that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed” in you (Revelation 8:18). That means whatever you envision for your life right now is already too small.

Although God promises you a future full of hope and blessing, it’s not going to happen automatically. There are some things you have to do. One of them is PRAY about it (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Another is OBEY GOD. But don’t worry, God will help you with both of those of you ask Him. The Holy Spirit is God’s guarantee to you that He will help you do what you need to do and bring to pass everything He promised (Ephesians 1:13-14). Just know that every time you PRAY & OBEY, you are investing in your future.
Remember, my precious brother and sister in the Lord, that walking with God doesn’t mean that there won’t be obstacles. Satan will see to it that there are. While God has a plan for your future that is good, the devil has one too and it’s not good. But the devil’s plan for your life cannot succeed as long as you are WALKING with God, living in OBEDIENCE to His ways, standing strong in His WORD, and PRAYING without ceasing. God’s plan for your life won’t happen without a struggle, however, so don’t give up when times get tough. Just keep on doing what’s RIGHT and RESIST the temptation to quit. Ask God to give you the strength and endurance you need to do what you have to do.

Don’t judge your future by what you read in the newspaper or the words someone spoke over you one time. Your FUTURE is in God’s HANDS. The only thing that is important is what He says about it. He doesn’t want you to be concerned about your future anyway. He wants you to be concerned with Him, because He is your future. Don’t become discouraged if things don’t happen as fast as you would like them to. They never do. God wants you to learn PATIENCE. Our perspective is temporal. He is eternal. So don’t be concerned if you are not seeing all that you want in response to your prayers. You will. If you draw close to God and do what He asks you to do, if you worship Him in spirit and in truth, if you love others and give yourself to them, if you speak God’s Word in faith and pray, you will see God’s blessings poured out on your life. I believe that we are denied certain things for a time because God wants us to fervently pray and intercede for them. That’s because He wants to do something great in response to your prayers, something that can only be birthed in prayer. There may be things that won’t happen in your life unless you are praying long and fervently.

In the meantime I know that you want to do something significant for the Lord and move into new areas of service for Him. God is looking for men & women who will be committed to living for His way and stepping into the purposes He has for their lives. He wants man and woman who are willing to sacrifice themselves for His kingdom, who are willing to say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” You are one of those men and women. I pray that you will be equipped and ready when God says, “Now is the time.” And the doors of opportunity open. Just keep doing what’s right and when you least expect it, you will get a CALL from God giving you your assignment.

Remember, God “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). He has more for you than you can imagine. And now may “the God of hope fill you with all joy and each believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). Stay focused on God, and He will keep you in perfect peace as He moves you into the future He has for you.

"For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the Lord, PLANS to PROSPER you and not to harm you, PLANS to GIVE you HOPE and a FUTURE." Jeremiah 29:11

Celebration of the Lamb of God

This week's celebration of the Lamb of God's resurrection is a time of hope. The apostle Paul wrote, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27) and proclaimed the Gospel of our “Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope” (1 Timothy 1:1).

Without the Lamb of God, we have no hope. But through His death, burial, and resurrection, we have an eternal hope that we are called to share with the world!
Why does our light of hope burn so brightly today?

-The throne of the universe is the cross of Jesus Christ.
-The cross of our wonderful Jesus is the seat of all authority, power, and victory.
-The cross is the throne of heaven.
-The cross is the only place of safety, protection, and glory.

The Word of God presents this glorious message of hope to us from Genesis to Revelation. And it is that blessed hope that we celebrate during this season!
Thank you for being my faithful partner. Thank you for all you are doing for the kingdom of God, for we know that it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Preaching the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ,
teaching the unchanging Word of God, and
expecting the mighty and miraculous

power of the Holy Spirit, In Jesus name
Blessings to you
Edwines
